Savalan LLC was founded in 2009 by Negin Shakibi who has built a team of professionals with expertise in working with accounting firms, multinational corporations, and professional services firms.

Her team brings diversified knowledge of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate strategy, and audit support.

The goal at Savalan is to offer depth and breadth to financial operations. We provide clients with the financial and operational management guidance required to make strategic decisions for successful, sustainable growth.

Negin Shakibi, Founding Principal

Negin ShakibiNegin Shakibi, a finance professional with over 25 years of experience, founded Savalan LLC to help clients achieve lasting growth. Since 2009, Savalan has helped clients in a variety of industries successfully manage growth and reach their profitability potential.

Prior to founding Savalan, LLC, Negin was vice president of finance and provided overall financial management for a $670 million line of business at Affiliated Computer Services (ACS). Negin also spent six years as a senior manager/director at KPMG, where, among other tasks, she led a multi-year, multimillion dollar federal outsourcing operation.

Earlier in her career, Negin worked at Automatic Data Processing (ADP), where she held two key positions, most recently as internal financial controls manager ensuring business-unit operations aligned with the company’s corporate objectives in its $3.6 billion Employer Services Group. She also served as controller for several business units within ADP’s Benefits Administration Division. Negin began her career in a non-profit environment and currently serves several non-profit organizations working with the federal government.

The hallmarks of Negin’s career are an ability to gauge the financial implications of every decision, the capacity to build scalable infrastructure, and a commitment that leads to lasting results. Now as a trusted advisor to a wide range of clients, she is determined to leverage her expertise to help small to midsize businesses grow and thrive.

Negin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Richmond and a Master of Business Administration, with honors, from George Washington University.


Lisa Winkler, Commercial Accounting Group Lead

Lisa Winkler, Commercial Accounting Group LeadLisa Winkler is an accounting professional with over 15 years of experience and leads Savalan’s accounting division. Having joined the team in 2014, Lisa provides accounting and financial analysis to various companies including day-to-day accounting services, monthly and yearly financial reporting, and auditor support.

Prior to Savalan, Lisa worked for a Delaware accounting firm, Horty & Horty PA, where she supervised audits, reviews, compilations, and financial analysis of various small to mid-sized non-profit, manufacturing, gaming, and construction clients.

Additionally, Lisa worked for Sony Electronics Corporation as an Accounting Supervisor where she developed a deeper understanding of the corporate budgeting process and month-end closings. Lisa started her career as an auditor for Arthur Andersen where she developed her auditing skills through a variety of large and mid-sized companies.

Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Delaware and is a former CPA in Pennsylvania and Maryland.


Ronald Crupi, Government Group Lead

Ronald Crupi, Government Group LeadRon Crupi is a finance professional with over 25 years of experience and leads Savalan’s government division. He has led full-service financial management operations for large Federal agencies, consistently committed to ensuring financial excellence. He has served as Senior Executive Chief Financial Officer, Certified Government Financial Manager, and Certified Internal Control Auditor with high integrity, accountability, and excellence in sustained performance.

He has held senior executive leadership positions in the Department of Homeland Security – Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Housing and Urban Development – Federal Housing Administration, Library of Congress, and the District of Columbia Government. Prior to his retirement from Federal Service in January 2016, Ron served as the Chief Financial Officer of the National Labor Relations board.

Throughout his career Ron led major efforts to transform organizations and processes that strengthened internal controls, improved financial reporting and financial systems, and provided accurate, reliable, and transparent financial information.  As Chief Financial Officer at the NLRB, Ron was responsible for Budget, Acquisitions, Finance, and Performance Management functions. His reach was Agency-wide in implementing processes that were streamlined and efficient, utilizing technology as a tool to enhance capability and minimize risk.

Ron has an AA in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Systems Technology and Management.  He is a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), and a Certified Internal Control Auditor (CICA).
